For a real showpiece after-dinner coffee, place a small scoop of ice cream into the bottom of a clear cup or mug and top with a garnish like chocolate shavings or crushed pepermints. At the table pour very hot coffee to fill the cups and the ice cream will slowly melt into it.

I have been drinking coffee for over 70 years.
I spent 22 yeas in the Navy so I have covered the world.
Also, I spent 22 years working for a large Medical Center, so I have had a lot of coffee in my years.
The BEST coffee I have ever had came from MacDonalds. A small cup is 99 cents or 59 cents foe seniors.

Coffee Martini (Hot or Cold)

1 oz Bailey's Irish Cream
1 oz Kahlua
1 oz Creme de Cocoa

Rim a large mug with baking cocoa, add liquors and fill mug with strong hot or cold coffee. Dollop with whipped cream. Sprinkle more cocoa on top.

You'll never look at a coffe pot the same way again.

All of these coffees sound SO GOOD I can hardly wait to get home!! I had a great coffee on a cruise:

Add a shot of Vandermint Liquor to a mug of coffee, topped with whipped cream. This was my dessert every night. Of course, you can't get Vandermint in the states and have to go on a cruise or go to Holland to pick up a bottle. It's a chocolate mint liquor. Delicious!!

I had a coffee when I was in Cancun--they called it sexy coffee. They added coffee liquer and amaretto to the coffee, flamed it, then added a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Talk about good. I'm going to Cancun again in April and can't wait to have it again. I have tried to make it myself but never tasted the same.

Down Under

1 shot 151 Rum
1 oz Triple Sec
1 shot Kahlua
Sprinkle of Cinnamon & Fresh ground Nutmeg
Fill balance of Parfait glass with Great Coffee
Dollop of Whipped Cream

Start with rimming a wet Parfait Glass with sugar and cinnamon then add the rum and light-it-up moving it around to caramelize the sugar rim, about 15 seconds and don't let the flame go out while you add the Triple Sec and Kahlua. Add the fresh hot coffee trying to keep the flame going and finish with the dollup and a sprinkle of cinnamon....Have more than one and you'll be Down Under....OOH It's So Good!!!
