My digital recorder just found two airings of a show i have not seen before on Fine Living -- "collector car Auction" -- at 3:30 am Central! I guess only late shift workers and insomniacs can get it in real time, but it was great. I noticed only one more is in the lineup -- are there more to come? This is a smart and watchable show -- but why so late? Why bury it?

Windshield America gets my vote! Just saw the show on the guy who sews clothes for the homeless. We need to hear more about the good things in America instead of just the bad.

Heather Templeton is a welcome addition to the professional television scene. Her sensitivity to her guests results in quality questions. Her respect and admiration for the talents and contributions of her guests comes across as genuine.

Windshield America as a program needs to be advanced. We hear so much negative from our press that it can drown out the wonderful contributions individuals are making to our World.
Your program is a major contributor towards refuting the negative perspective. Keep going...

Greetings:

My wife and I have seen a couple of your 'Windsheild America' shows and are duely impressed. There is certainly a dirth of positive, regular Americans making small but important contributions in their communities regardless of recognition on T.V. today. Thanks for such a different show. Your host should be more involved.

Thanks..Bill

Windshield America is he best show on Fine Living in my opinion. No one is selling you things, No phony hosts. Just real stories on real people who are living out their dreams. With so much negativity on the news these days, its really nice to see positive stories.

What ever has happened to Fine LIving? Can't wait until the reruns stop running.

I've loved many of the upscale interior design, luxury travel, and fashion as inspiration.

Vogue fashion, fine living and luxury no matter what your budget should be uplifting. Enough of the shopping bags! Some of it is a matter of opinion anyway and is just not entertaining you can go to consumers report for that kind of information!

The Fine Living channel is no longer! You may be loosing your core viewers. The time slots and Prime time slots for shows have been running now for several years are the same?

This can't be what your viewers want to watch every night?

I was expecting to see Shiela Brigdes take the show to the next level. I love her and want her to work one to one with your average Joe and help him create a wonderful living quarters from any size budget from $500 dollar to thousands. I wanted to see her aproach to smaller budget and what vendor would she use. From floor, paint fixture, furniture, art, and whole spectum.
Well can you create a show that can focus on these issues?

Favorite Fine Living Shows:

I would love to see a show on downsizing--living a simple life. Not just organizing to simplify, but making major changes (home, job, profession, etc.).

I like the a few of the Dinner Date episodes. Especially the singles episode. It was comedy. And two the girls were cuties. We Live Here is also a good show. Im a travel nut, so watching the show is like my "research" for new destinations.

Hi there. I like the following three shows on Fine Living:

1. Tech Check with Becky Worley - I recognized her from TechTV News (early 2000), and she definitely has not lost her tech savvy humor.

2. Auction Adventure with Michael Eldridge - a big change from PBS Antiques Roadshow or the BBS Cash in the Attic, and I definitely like the format.

3. "Travel Show" with Samantha Brown (could not find the actual show-series name) - I believe these shows were made in 2004, but I just started watching them. The host definitely adds a lively and humorous tone to what could have been a boring "we are at xxxx" dialogue.

Keep up the great work, Fine Living!

there are a few shows that i love to watch on Fine Living.

Thirsty Traveler which travels to different places around the world & trying different things.

Insider's List with Julie Moran is a fantastic show which different things like vacation spots, supplies for the office worker, different ways of meditation & much more.

Ming's Quest - love that show. gets to travel around the world to try different foods & enjoy some great activities.

Around the World in 80 Homes - i would just love to go to a wonderful place & feel like it is home away from home. they describe beautiful places to visit while in that particular area.

Smart Travels w/Rudy Maxa - that is a wonderful show. he gets to travel to the most beautiful places like France, Germany. all the sculptures, the works of art - it is just amazing.

Pairings with Andrea - i love wine & love to see what goes with a particular wine. she does that & it is like being in her kitchen just smelling that good food & wine. one of her biggest fans is me - i just love her period.

NapaStyle - fantastic show - shows you how to have fun with friends & food & drinks as well.

other shows i love are Dwell, Any Given Latitude and What Do You Get for the Money

my wife and i love Pairings with Andrea, its been so informative to us. Also what you get for the money is great, it help us determine our retirement destination. What happen to life in the fast lane. We see Steve on American Thunder but not on fine living. THANKS!

What's with all the repeats? Where are the new episodes of Sheila Bridges, Deconstructed, What You Get For the Money, Ming's Quest, Dwell, Catalog This, Room Service and The Shopping Bags? Some of these shows haven't shown anything new since 2004! Are they cancelled or what? You are losing me as a viewer with all of the repetition. What happened to Public Places, Private Spaces? There are too many golf and eating shows on. Who cares about endless discussions on wine? Please show more decorating ideas for those of us who live in high density urban areas. Not everyone wants to live in suburbia.

Michelle wrote :

I love the wandering golfer! Well, at least I did. It will be very interesting to see who the new Wandering Golfer is. The girl is cute, but I don't think she would make such a great host. The comedian is funny, but I'm afraid it would take away from what I'm actually tuning in for. The Jack guy seems to be the best. He's entertaining, but serious about his golf as well. I would definitely keep watching him!

My favorite show is We Live Here. Seattle, please! From Redmond to Bellevue to downtown, there's so many options. 'Mora' icecream, downtown crab shacks, Uwajimaya, Burt-Gilman trail, pike place market, Ken Zaburo sushi bar. i'm always dropping by the fine living channel hoping to see us there.

I love Around the World in 80 Homes. Although, I was dissappointed when I discovered the viewing hours for this show had changed. I enjoyed watching the show as I relaxed on a Saturday and Sunday mornings. Now it comes on in the evenings during the week. Please bring it back to the weekend mornings.

I took a look at your finalists for the wandering golfer and though it was posted that you did not want amateur video, obviously, you got it, 'cause the videos I watched were not of a professional variety. I did not send in a tape because I couldn't afford to have something professionally done. As a result, we both lose.I could really use a new and better job and TWG would have been a perfect career change.

My son and I love to watch Rooms That Rock! It takes the challenge of designing for the pre-teen and/or teenager to a whole new level. It's creative, fun and dare I say, genius. My son has me checking your website often for an opportunity for him to be on your show to get HIS room rockin'!

I've been keeping up with the poll on the wandering golfer. It's funny how the absolute worst demos are getting 2000 votes. Looks like somebody learned how to unplug their modem to vote a couple of thousand times in a row. I truly hope that the judges take integrity into account when making their decision as well. It's almost comical. Thank goodness my favourite show won't be dictated by some online voting. I hope all the true fans of the show are voting too. I hate to see the Wandering Golfer waste away to this...

I love Raddical Sabbatical or reality check. I love Raddical Sabbatical because it always motivates me to follow my dreams and try to live a simplier life. I love seeing people and their dreams also reality check is a good show because the jobs they have on there always seem cool to me but it is nice to see the other side and hard work put into a job that seems easy like the winery epidsode or running a bed and breakfast.

I like what you get for the money, the genuine article, deconstructed, designer living, dwell, any given latitude, pocket the difference, insider's list and more. I don't like golf.

While I appreciate the diversity of the family's that you serve, I would like to see more hosts of color with their individual culural take on the subjects.

If you don't put the travel shows back on the weekend, I'm gonna give you up.

Are you going to air any more episodes of LIFE IN THE FAST LANE? I LOVE this show but I've seen (& taped) all episodes & WANT more. My family & friends think its funny that I am so into this show since I am a female that is definately NOT mechanically inclined. But that is what I like about this show. Its makes what I always thought was a boring subject matter appealing to everyone. I like the main charachter, Steve Natt. He seems really knowledgable, funny & personable. Not intimidating - doesn't talk down to us viewers that are clueless about this stuff. I loved the dirt bike episode because Steve Natt had his wife & daughter on that it. My daughter now wants to ride a dirt bike ! My husband who is also a motorhead is finally glad I am showing an interest in his hobby. Keep up the good work & keep 'em coming!

I only watch on weekends before my wife puts me on chore duty and I like what I see. I don't know the name of the show, but it's got great music and graphics and is about how much I would be ripped off for a house like mine if I lived in California. Something about what it costs for the money or ??

Great show.

I'm glad to hear The Shopping Bags is doing well, because I've always enjoyed it. The hosts are funny without missing the point, and the tests are always creative. (The episode with the hurricane-proof umbrellas tested by a big fan in a parking lot was pretty amusing.) It also seems the show takes seriously the product recommendations. I don't expect the show to measure every brand for every product out there, so the people behind the show seem to do a good job of selecting spend/splurge items that you can actually find and use. It's entertaining without it being really serious.
