Stretch your clothing budget

Who doesn't want to get more mileage out of their clothes? Jones New York, our partner on the upcoming new FLN show, Closet Cases, is hosting a series of in-store events at major department stores nationwide to help women stretch their clothing budgets. Together with Closet Cases style expert Lloyd Boston, the JNY Style Miles program will travel across the country to help you create a recession-proof wardrobe.

Wardrobe clinics will show you how to take classic pieces from your closet and pair them with key items from the spring collection from Jones New York. A fashion show of key looks will be followed by one-on-one style consultations with Lloyd.

IN-STORE EVENT SCHEDULE:

  • Saturday April 18th, 2pm at Macy’s Bridgewater, NJ
  • Saturday April 25, 2pm at Macy’s Valley Fair, San Jose, CA
  • Thursday, April 30th, 6pm at Macy’s State Street, Chicago, IL

Melanie Mannarino is the deputy executive editor at Redbook, where her duties include editing, blog writing, and updating coworkers on the daily specials in the corporate cafeteria and making sure all staff members eat lunch by 12:30 PM — 1 o'clock the latest. Melanie lives in suburban New Jersey with her husband Rich and their dog Wendy and cat Lucy. Her personal shopping philosophy is that if you wait long enough, it will go on sale — but if you really, truly must have it, don't delay.
