I love all that Fine Living is about. When my life doesn't feel the way I thought it would or should, my imagination and dreams are what keep me alive. Without my dreams, I'd have no hope or motivation to move on to tomorrow. Fine Living takes everything that you or I would love our lives to look like. Even if the story inside the book isn't the happiest, the cover is so beautiful, it doesn't matter.

Alexis

Alexis Mersel is the director for fineliving.com, and truly attests that shopping is in her blood. From New York to Paris (her two favorite cities), she scours the globe for fabulous finds and can't imagine ever living without online shopping. In her spare time, Alexis helps friends fill their closets with clothes and accessories that make them smile every time they get dressed. Her shopping philosophy is that if you spend on quality, not quantity, you'll always look and feel great.

Elizabeth

Elizabeth Tipton searches high and low for unique, amusing or clever products to improve your life. Her network of family and friends are always getting emails with new information about this pair of scissors or that new leaf blower. Those suggestions eventually made it all the way to HGTV's MarketPlace, where she writes a daily blog of her great finds. Her personal shopping philosophy is that the best find is the one you never knew you needed until you saw it.

Jillian

Jillian St. Charles is the director of HGTV online. She thinks the search for the perfect gift is one of the best parts of any holiday, birthday, or special occasion. Thanks to the internet, it has been years since she has had to circle endlessly looking for a mall parking spot. Her shopping philosophy is that it's better to buy nothing than to buy the wrong thing.

Melanie

Melanie Mannarino is the deputy executive editor at Redbook, where her duties include editing, blog writing, and updating coworkers on the daily specials in the corporate cafeteria and making sure all staff members eat lunch by 12:30 PM — 1 o'clock the latest. Melanie lives in suburban New Jersey with her husband Rich and their dog Wendy and cat Lucy. Her personal shopping philosophy is that if you wait long enough, it will go on sale — but if you really, truly must have it, don't delay.

You can follow Melanie's foodie adventures (and get some of her no-fail recipes) on The Serving Dish where shamelessly indulges her passion for all things food.
